Martin here tomorrow

we made one taf out of two and this is what’s left. All boards were just lying around here broken. Dmd hasn’t been touched or cpu and it looks nice.

cabinet is nasty but pf not that bad.

we swapped loom as some idiot had cut and joined one on our other taf. It’s a nice job just something i can’t sell on a restored game

That is nasty.
Im still looking for a Addams cab so if it does get split up id be interested in the cabinet.

I would love to tackle this but my brain is stuck in 90's pricing! Great project

I'd like to take this on and fix it up...Bad timing with stuff to do on this Getaway...

Slightly confused...... So DMD and cpu are ok? Other boards unknown / broken?

Would be interesting to know how much money those old girls took during their working lives.

Curious as to the logic of removing the caps and bridge rectifiers from the Power Driver Board? Are they worth salvaging vs just using new (better) components?

3k is heavy money for a game in this state, but let's be absolutely realistic here - it would gain two grand with some care.

Whether it's two-grands-worth of care though... depends on who's doing it... and how much you're going to, um... 'restore' it if you follow.

It’s the going rate. I think I paid about that for mine in a similar state. In fact worse. No dmd, trashed playfield. Cabinet was nice though. The playfield is fine on this and with a tumbler and bowl full of soapy water everything will come up fine would just benefit from a cab redecal. It took months of restoration and a new pf and new dmd and loads of other stuff and I sold it for £5k. It’s by no means ready for the skip. It’s fine just needs the right person

Chris could fix that pf up good as new

If the cabinet wasn’t knackered (and someone cut the loom) it would be a prime candidate for total rebuild.

And very nice it is too, it’s just had a mirror glass to replace that damaged translite.
