Greetings all, been reading the forum for a while, really helpful, thought it was time I signed up and said hello.
New to pinball and looking to get my first machine, a fixer-upper or project machine. Been watching the for sale section with interest.

Thanks, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment. I like so many, I tend to like the space themed stuff but also like the BH, HH, Black Knight. My budget leads me to think I might have to settle for something more realistic like Fire Power, Space Invaders, Space Station, Big Guns etc. I get the impression that Gotlibs might be tricky to maintain but the Williams WPC machines might be more my thing. I'm from an IT background so hopefully I should be able to use some of those skills. Quite open to suggestions at this point.

I'd massively recommend going along to a league meet, not only will you get to try different machines but you will meet some of the friendliest people and will likely make a good number of friends, bonus being (nearly) everyone has some sort of skill in repairing games (as it's just a fact of owning one) and will be able to help you out when you land your first machine.
