Jurassic Park flipper issues

I've got a couple of issues with my Jurassic Park flippers:

1) The upper right flipper goes up when pressed and then immediately comes back down even if the button is being held.

2) The lower right flipper does stay up when held, but often when a ball hits the flipper it will force the flipper down.

Any suggestions on what might be causing this and the best thing to do about it would be really be appreciated.

First thing I'd do is take a look at the mechs for anything physical (and obvious).
Usually a wire off can cause the flipper hold not to work,or a eos switch not set right.
