Hi folks. My JD started playing up yesterday (typical - just before going to the Slam!)

After starting a game, if both flippers are pressed together the machine will reboot. Please can anyone provide some guidance on where to start my investigations. (sorry for the "ask first before investigating myself" message here, but I am aware of needing to fix it before next Friday!)

thanks, Ben

As above I would initially reseat the leads (Think it tends to be the black wires). I've had this on several machines and it normally seems to be fixed by reseating them - think it's to do with oxidisation.

It's the unwritten rule of Pinball, as soon as a Show approaches you can guarantee yr games will throw a hissy fit. clear.png

Turned on TAF today, and for first time ever got the Factory Reset message on it even tho batteries good. clear.png Right on cue..

Panic Over! Cables now reseated and it is working again. Thanks for the advice and Wiki link.

Hopefully nothing else will fail, and you mange to sort out your machines.
