JP2 flipper coil stops

Whilst fitting some art blades from @PeteB earlier i noticed the dreaded metal fillings in the bottom of the cab. On inspection, it looks like my right hand flipper coil stop is on its way out. Pictures of both stops attached.
Does this need changing now before it fails or is there plenty of life in it?
Also, is this covered under PH warranty?

That looks like a faulty part. No way a game as new as JP2 should have failing coilstops already.

But yeah I would replace it as not only might it fail unexpectedly in the middle of good game but also could be affecting flipper performance... and that just sucks.
