Hey folks

Have anyone noticed that their JJP transformers are much noiser than Stern or Spooky transformers (and perhaps others). I've noticed that my GnR and Wonka are really noisy compared to Scooby and Turtles which are silent. Any one got any ideas on how to sort it? It's not the end of the world I know, but if they're on and I'm not playing it bugs me. Yes, I know I can turn them off, but they look pretty :) Might be hard to tell from these vids, but its very noticeable IRL

Are you sure it’s the transformer? I’ve never noticed transformer hum on my JJPs, however I have noticed audio hum, I fitted a ground loop isolator which stopped the hum.

Something like this…

Chris.

Just kidding. But still the transformer. It already has an isolator. If I turn off the PSU for the motherboard, and pul the power connecters from the main JJP board, still getting the hum. Can only be the transformer right? Movie shows it, but it's more pervasive in the flesh. I've tried the tips I found on pinside, gave it a (gentle) whack with a rubber mallet, tightened the mounting screws, tightening the plates (neither needed it, they weren't lose).
Can I put some rubber or something underneath the transformer ?
