JJP Harry Potter -Confirmed

I do believe CE £14,995 but it is going to be £14,500 for orders now until the end of my show on the 21st to group members for payment by bank transfer (2k deposit and balance when JJP request it).

Good to know, thanks Phil. Guessing that the CE isn’t limited to a specific number in that case, but instead there is a cut off date for ordering and after that no more available?

Didn't they say they would make as many CEs as was ordered?

I would guess until it's taken off the production line. 🤷
I thought I read somewhere that they had changed that and will be making 1000 CEs only.

It also looks like the little scroll on the apron could have the game number on it.

Yeah someone was saying that on the Pinside thread but others are still saying that there will be no limit on numbers, just a cut off date for orders.

If @philpalmer says that he is taking orders til at least the 21st then I assume the latter must still be accurate.

They did, yes, but I think that was said to be as many CEs as are ordered before a cut off date. I think they’re planning on building and shipping the CEs first, and I’m sure they want to create some FOMO, so I’d hazard a guess there will be a time limit if there isn’t a number limit.

Once you see the CE art, this just doesn’t compare unfortunately!
Yeah I get you. I think it depends if you’re a fan of the books, the films or both.

The themes not me for, but I really like CE artwork, it does look really nice in regards to colours and design but I have no connection with it at all as I’ve never read the books 😮.

My only knowledge of the franchise is via the films, and I think some people were hoping for good movie artwork which on the images of the wizard edition, the right side was ok. The villains on the left is a big improvement.

I think the wizard and arcade editions will do fantastic on location

Yeah, I think I am more a book lover from the series and the art around that. I do love the films though and get your point, that there will be people who prefer the films and want the film assets.

Looking forward to seeing it later on.

I think if you are a big fan, then the CE art will appeal loads more, as it’s MinaLima.

But I get it that the film art will be more popular.

This side of the Wizard Edition looks smart. I much prefer it to the right sides artwork.

I suspect that will look okay on radcals but the CE art looks far more fancy.

So on that machine above, it's good guys on the right side of the cabinet and the left side is for the naughty list?

Basically, if I understand it correctly, it's 3k extra for the blingy edition with topper, powdercoat & blades which is still cheaper than a Stern LE in the UK?

Very interested to see if there is a 'Wow' mechanism on this and how it shoots because the rest seems to all be in place with assets etc

Pretty much, yes. The CE topper is rumoured to be Hogwarts with Harry flying around it. I think that the Wizard Edition also has powdercoated armour, but the CE has gold powdercoat with the words etched in. Art blades included, and also comes with the Golden Snitch shooter and probably some sort of glitter effect in the playfield like the other JJP CE games. Should also come with rear and under cab lighting.

And yes, cheaper than a Stern LE in the UK, more expensive than a Stern LE in the States.

Whether you like JJP games or not, they give way more value than Stern £ for £.

Stern LEs - No shooter rod or topper!

Taking my time on this one John, this game is a definite contender but need to be sure. If I did it would be the middle version because it's cheaper and I'm not fussed about toppers.

Neil has invited me over to play Kong 'which is another option' so I'm keeping my powder dry until I've seen & played everything.

D&D is actually much better than I imagined but the theme is not really for me and fortunately all the Evil Dead games have been sold.

Excited to see the reveal though and my daughter is HP mad.

Sounds like you're in for a CE to me 😆
