JJP ejecting 2 balls in to shooter lane

Hey guys. Wonka has started to spit two balls in to the shooter lane every time. Pretty sure I have seen similar issues but can’t seem to find any threads. Am I right in thinking it could be trough optos related? I know they are known to be pretty flakey, and Jim made some more reliable boards.

Ok mate thanks, thought it would have something to do with them. I will pull them out and re flow. Hopefully that will sort it out [emoji106]

took mine out and examined- the OPTO at the back- where balls drop Into trough had a dry joint- bit of heat and been problem free

Phil sent out replacement opto boards for the trough to the owners who purchased their machine from PH, as the JJP ones suck.

Cheers, will give mine a look and probably get some of Jim’s to future proof them. I had read a couple of threads complaining about them but didn’t read much in to them tbh.
