Hi All, new to the forums so not sure if this post is in the right location.
Recently purchased a NIB - JJP avatar LE and loving it! As a new pinball owner I’ve been wondering what settings people tend to use for the score awards? Is there a generalised “go-to” that is used across the board of machines?

If so what should I set them as?

See picture attached.

Many thanks,
Chris

whatever you want to get an good enjoyable game. If your games are over too quickly loosen the settings. as you improve on the game, and ball times get longer, you can tighten up.
There are loads of other settings too to make a game easier/harder.

UK league meets are 4 balls and no extras
Most comps are 3 balls no extras.

To progress through a game - then nothing wrong with 10 balls and easy settings and as many extras as you can configure!

But if you want to be a top competition player, then...........

thanks for the reply Alan, that gives me a bit more of an insight into what to aim for within these settings.

I’ve made the overall game its hardest setting as by reading people’s previous comments about the avatar being too easy with multi Balls and it’s certainly made an interesting game. I only came across the score awards in the settings when I was trying to see if I could stop the extra ball score qualifier raising higher every time it’s obtained.. currently the wife is owning the grand champion position and has made a stupidly high extra ball score.. this just won’t do 😅

I think I’ll aim for something balanced for the home setting then but in line with the uk league as in the future I know this is an interest of my wife’s and mine.

Many thanks
Chris
