Interesting Spider-Man Mod

Anybody ever played a Spider-Man with this mod installed ?
Apparently the original design intent was to have a controlled gate that fed the ball back into the shooter lane from the Spidey Sense shot but it was never implemented (although there is an adjustment in the settings to turn the gate on or off).

It would be interesting to see if the wiring is in place to make it a controlled gate.

the thinking is it wasn't a controlled gate but acts like star trek. The divert to lane option allows for use in multiball where a ball entering the lane would be regarded as a failed launch which would screw up the count.

Ahh. That simplifies things then. Where did you get the lane guide from ?

Marco have all the bits in stock. I bought a new one so I can always return it to stock otherwise I could cut up the original

Spidey Sense mod Requires a 1-way ball gate and for you to cut a section of
the metal ball guide in the shooter lane. This mod causes Spidey
Sense to load back into the shooter lane instead of dropping back into
the right lanes (and possibly the outlane).

Here is a list of parts needed.

(1) 515-7643-00 shooter lane flat rail weldment.
(2) 535-9335-00 flap gate mounting bracket.
(2) 535-9333-00 flap gate
(2) 535-9336-00 hinge pin
(2) 237-6030-00 screw
(2) 242-5059-00 nut

If I do mine I don't think I will use a gate like the one in the photos. I will use a thin wire gate.
