Massive thanks to Glen, Simon and Dan Williams for all their hard work making this event happen. Also to Ian for running the streaming, I'm sure it provided some interesting moments. Great to see a new venue capable and willing to hold tournaments. A successful first tourney, cheers guys 👏

Thanks Andy, Simon and Dan Williams should take all the credit. A great turn out and some memorable highlights for sure. Great to see a bunch of new players dipping their toe into the competitive side of things aswell. A few mentions:

@Devil-Mish, Ryan qualifying in 8th spot in his first ever tournament. This was a great achievement.

Owen Lloyd who played some great stuff all day, just a matter of time before he takes home a 1st place trophy.

Jason Pitt who qualified in top spot and went on to be the eventual winner. Jason is a fantastic player whose ranking doesn't reflect his true talent due to his lack of participation in events. He was simply unstoppable.

Thank you for everyone's kind words and being happy to return for whenever the next one is. Hopefully January, watch this space.

Huge thanks to Simon, Dan, Glen and Ian for putting on a great event, also to Retroids of course for letting us play there. An awesome day all round.

Congrats to Jay, dominating all day in qualifying and the finals.

Along with the clear absolute dominance of Jason Pitt, @kevlar had an unbelievable day. He was as bad as I have seen him early on 🤣 and then got 5(!) first places in a row to see out qualification, scraping in, in the last qualifying spot in 16th! He then managed to make it all the way to the final, finishing 2nd! What an amazing (and I'm sure, stressful 🤣) day. Pinball tournaments are definitely about peaking at the right time, Kev most definitely did that today! 👏

Thanks Craig, it was certainly a very interesting day for me 😂

A brilliant day playing pinball at a venue I hope will be hosting again soon. With so many pinball places closing recently it’s great to see people show up and support those that are there and in particular supporting by putting in the graft to get the tournament organised - Glen, Simon and Dan you did an excellent job of hosting and setting the games (as well as re-setting them after a very very long day of pinball!) and without you guys it wouldn’t have happened. I hope you all had a decent enough time that you won’t mind doing it again soon 😉

Thanks for the kind words and of more importantly to everybody who made the trip today - 37 players at an unproven tournament venue is excellent and I hope you all had fun.

I welcome any and all feedback, public or private about the event - format, machine setups, anything - was my first time TDing so good to hear it all.

The final did end up finishing a little bit after the 8pm closing time, but Retroids were very kind in letting us finish up 👍
