Indiana Jones pop bumper cap ruins & biplane figures mod

Yep that’s me. And yeah not cheap I’m afraid but I’m not expecting a huge amount of orders and they’ve taken a while to get right (had various requests for different colours/transparents etc).

Any feedback welcome, and if anyone’s interested drop me a pm- I’m taking orders to start making first batch within the next couple of weeks.

I also do the figures for the biplanes.

I was wondering about that - are the pop bumper metal rims the same size on stern as Williams? If so then it should fit fine.

Not cheap but look worth it, materials and time add up!
Got any pics of figures in biplanes?

Thanks for the positive comments guys - glad you like them. I welcome any feedback.
Here are a few more pics (they're all on inside too). For those that have PM'd me I'll get back to you shortly.
Cheers

OK, so with the Biplane figures there is a long thread on pinside where I've been making figures to go in uprated biplanes that a guy is making. He makes a model kit high detailed version, and also a painted up version of the stock plane: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/indiana-jones-plane-rescue-service/page/30#post-5190216
I've managed to make an Indy figure that is a straight swap for the centre post on the standard stock Biplane, and a henry figure that glues onto the rear hump of the plane (see pics). This set costs £70 plus postage. I know it's not cheap (and was more originally but exchange rate has chipped away at it), but it took a lot of time to get the sculpts right, the prints take a while to prep and then the painting takes a fair bit of time and skill. If you're interested then PM me.
Again - welcome any feedback.
Cheers

:thumbs::thumbs:I should pay Pinside more attention so thanks to M4carp for spotting this. What's the deal on pre-orders...…….is a deposit required and if so how much for the 3 caps set and for the plane?

It’s not the whole plane - just the figures! Sorry.

Send me a PM with what you’re interested in. I’m away for a few days and then will compile batch lists late next week and get back to everyone on details and payments etc..

Thanks!

Yep, appreciate it's just the figs and not the plane...….that would have been a great package! I'm in for a set of the plane figs and a set of the caps. PM'd you.

Here are the final colour options. For those that have been in touch I will contact you to confirm colours. (Note - this is the 'idol' bumper cap, and will come with the 'skull' and the 'grail' for the full set of 3 bumper caps).
If anyone else is interested, I'm making the batch now.
Thanks

The Batch of Bumper Caps are almost done. Someone on Inside requested them without the skull/grail/idol on, which made me wonder if there are any other machines that might benefit from a 'ruins' style set of caps. I was thinking of BSD maybe? Not sure - let me know if anyone has any ideas. I could easily make new inserts that replace the indy themed centre items.
Cheers

Ramps and coffin might be an issue for bsd but stone caps and a headstone might look good.

Yes, I also reckon it would add a bit to the BSD and agree trickier given the layout of the bumpers plus needs a good contrasting colour to stand out against the very vivid BSM playfield colours (well as I see them). A skeleton pile +/- with bat would be in keeping with the theme. Sure there must be other games.....maybe Flintstones? If you could engineer a castle theme then BK2K has a nice open layout of bumpers.

Hi Guys,
I'm making a new batch of figures for the IJ biplane. These consist of Indy and Henry plus a few little accessories like windshield etc.. I make two versions - One is for the stock plane, and another version is for the uprated planes (biplane and fighter) with spinning propellors that a guy on Pinside makes (he's also taking a new batch order now). Let me know if you're interested - I only really do these once I have a batch to paint. Also, they're not cheap - so probably only if you love IJ and have it as a keeper.
Cheers

At the risk of seeming a plane-spotter, the swastika in a white circle on a red background was a civilian aircraft marking; military planes simply had a swastika on their camouflage paintwork. I applied such markings to the planes while Indy was a current game.

Think you'll have to take that one up with Spielberg :)
