In Progress In my house there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, hobbit, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell.... just a very slightly dirty one

If you want specific hobbit bits the only place to get them is pinball ife

I'm not going to derail your excellent shop thread, with a debate, but yes, this is such a massive/relevant point.
No that's fine, it's why I put it in. The only other game that generated any form of interest that I owned was Ghostbusters, now some pinball people absolutely hate that game, however the theme and game play really appeals to non pinball players. If I operated a site that game would be the first in. Avengers infinity quest is a classic example of a 💩 theme only appealing to a very tiny amount of people comic book nerds and pinball players, it's a truly great game, but you definitely become a billy no mates playing an owning it🤭🤣

If you only need one or two bits I'd strongly recommend contacting Mel @1stoppinball

He is quick and the parts are priced fairly. I got the bats and a decal first before I got the machine of him. However I realised I needed a lot of bits so it's fine to order directly, the courier is the killer and it's not worth it for £10 bits but is when your spending alot 😉

A final thanks goes to @David retro from retro arcade, he does go out of his way to stock parts that aren't easily available in the UK and his website for the most of it actually has the right part numbers on it making it easy to order. Jersey jack is a particular pain in the **** as the parts are mainly Williams but the part numbers don't correspond with any thing and it's tricky to find what exactly it should be, as on top of it they describe the part in the manual with some nonsense 🤣 for example the sling shot metal coil thing is actually 2" inch which is non standard there no mention of this in the manual or a decent description, it's only because pinball life have the parts number and corresponding correctly that I worked out what it was, David fortunetly had it in stock!

@cmrl9 thank you for the shoutout and kind words means a lot to me

If there’s any parts needed we don’t stock always drop us a message we can normally sort it and quickly we air freight all parts and we restock from most places every few days so no long wait times on average

Got another 200 new products landing next week

Also continuing to add to our jersey jack parts range

Many thanks for your orders and support

Whoever at jersey jack decided to put the magnetic transformer uncovered at the back and all the boards in the pc box at the base should be fired.

I dropped an important large long screw that held smaug head into the cabinet, I spent hours trying to find it, in the end I had to take the sub out then disconnect the giant metal box, take this out, take the transformer out to find it, on the positive side I found all the other missing screws and metal off the machine that shaken loose over time also stuck to it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It also gave me the opportunity to hoover the inside of the cabinet, now that's dedication.

I was a bit worried that I'd put the pc back in wrong as my labels had dropped off, however the person who designed the manual at jersey jack should get a raise, not only was it detailed on which connector went where it allowed me to label them correctly.

Also the stereo sound is now working 🤷‍♂️

Actually I think the person at jersey jack who put the boards in a giant metal box did get fired as on guns and roses there now where they should be in the back box 🤭😄

Also explains why you get a hum on sound in jersey jack machines, you have power and magnets next to speaker and with speaker wire going over it 🤷‍♂️

This machine has the fix, that funny little black thing forgot what it's called.

I also tied the wires so they run away from the giant magnetic transformer at the back left.
