Hello,

I am looking to make the backbox lighting much brighter on my Big Buck Hunter Pro and wondered if anyone had already done this and how they did it?

I currently have an LED Tube, but it is very dull.

I have seen some LED kits in the US, but they seem to interact with the game (and are expensive) and I am simply looking to make it brighter.

Looking for suggestions and recommendations.

Thanks!

Piece of mount board, threaded bar (can't recall size, it will be imperial though), few plastic circular bits off an old stair gate, wing nuts, Speaker wire to join the lines of LED.

I think it's 85% brightness in attract mode, 30% in gameplay. Fades up and down.

Yes you can't see or access the fuses, but I don't play them enough to worry - if I need to change/check anything I just take it out.

The colour temp is perfect for my tastes - neutral white, ever so slightly on the warm side warm - just right.

NOT the same as the colour I used on my 2 wall-mounted AFM playfields. That was an appropriate warmer retro colour.

I did something similar on a TSPP. I put in a board (stole the idea of Mark Squires) and added LED flashers paralleled up to the playfield ones. Worked really well. Get rid of the tube!!!!
