Good afternoon, can somebody please tell me why D209 (1N4148) would split in half like this ?
I have 3 flashers not working and was just going to replace Q26 which feeds pin 2 on J6 which are my 3 flashers.
Just need to check what would cause this and do I need to replace anything else in this circuit ?
I'm not even sure if it's been damaged some other way as so many things wrong with this game.

Many Thanks

just replace it. they often break like that. physical shock or a surge of power. a diode is made by two wire ends with a blob of semiconductor material glued between them, which is the weak point, so they often break in half, especially glass cased ones like that. the 1n4001-7 diodes are plastic (or polycarbonate) cased and don’t break in half as easily.

Thankyou for the info, will order some now.
