I have a Bally Game Show which has an intermittent weak flipper.
I have replaced the coil with the correct FL-11630 (red), the coil sleeve, Capacitor 2.2 uFD and EOS switch. I have adjusted the gap on the EOS switch to about 1/8th inch when open.

Most of the time all seems to be fine and then suddenly the flipper goes very weak. If you then pump it a few times then all seems OK again.
I am running out of ideas ... how can I fix this??Any ideas very welcome.

If you changed the sleeve then you'll have checked the plunger at the same time to see if it has mushroomed or not...??? Checked the plunger link and return spring...??? The plunger end stop..??? The gap between the brushing and crank arm...???

Good luck in solving your problem!

Thanks Moonraker,
Sounds like another flipper strip down in the morning!
Thanks for your help.

(Hm... Moonraker .... does that mean you are in Wiltshire?)

Check that the eos switch is in good contact. The movable bit should flex the fixed bit when in contact. If it is merely 'touching' then contact may not be good.

Thanks Pinballmania, I will check that first before I take it all apart again.
