Coin Op sold it in less than 24hrs. I was tempted but might have too much for me to bring back to a sociable condition!
This is very true. I believe it's called pinball because of the 'pins' on the table that the ball would hit as it made its way down the playfield.

I remember playing one of these back in the day at Bristol ice rink, I had a couple of very hectic, but short, games! Would be good to have one at home to learn how to play it properly - but the noise if nothing else would preclude that at the moment!

It's pretty cool when you figure out the rules, it has smart bombs to use and stuff... it was almost like a mechanical version of video games of the time like Defender.The IPDB says it's Not a Pinball so who are we to argue? [emoji14]

Rules are quite good. Hit the moving flash before it zaps your energy centre. Multiple flashes, use smart bomb.
It is quick and no time for distractions!
I have a spare ball feed mech and a spare solenoid shooter assembly plus a load a plastics if anyone feels tempted
