Hurricane! Roll Up, Roll Up...
Bristol - looking at £1300 to you guys..

Not well regarded by some I know - but fully working, entry level DMD game - offered here before I utilise an Ebay Free Listing..

The Good:
All present and correct - the playfield was swapped (thanks @Atlantis ), cleaned / polished etc, new rubbers, all bulbs checked, new legs, flipper bats, shooter assembly and bottom speaker, noise suppression circuit added (gets rid of nasty turn on/off squeal), remote battery holder and a multi coin (cheap programmable) unit fitted (Set on Free play, but can be used as huge moneybox!).

The Bad:
Translite trim has 2" piece out of it and plastic above 'Dunk the Dummy' damaged. Normal wear and tear..

The Ugly:
Not that ugly, but the very faded side/front panel art has been hand touched up - not showroom, but definitely better!

I'll post some photos and welcome any questions.
Planning on leaving it here for a week - and then off to FleaBay.

Just wanted to give forum members here a chance to buy before it gets lost in a mancave elsewhere...

Great price - this is going to fly out of your hands!

Plus isn't Jim @myPinballs doing a code rewrite for this machine? Once that's ready they're going to go up in value... Edit: no he's not and I'm dumb.

This art design would give me nightmares :D

Much better price than the one on Facebook with the blurry pictures.

No doubt this will be gone in a hot minute.

I do hope this is going to a good home and i won't see it on eBay in a week or two at a silly price.
Me too, trust so..

I'm aware that the last, mostly working Hurricane made £1470ish on Ebay, but I wanted to offer mine to all the forum members here 1st - and didn't want to rip anyone off!
Community is worth more than money - I've really appreciated all the help, tips and support here - happy to give a little back!

It definitely won't be going on eBay - can't stand the place. I've only ever bought and sold machines through people on here, so when I do come to sell, it will be back on here. Might be a while though, as I'm currently finding it easier to buy things than to let them go - yet to tell the Mrs that we've got to find space for a new addition!

Looks nice. Hurricane doesn't get much love, but when my sons were kids, all their friends would play it rather than the A list titles I had.
