I agree but then it's £1k cheaper than a Smaug Hobbit and similar price to a Stern LE, plus all the extras are circa £750, so I'm not sure it's terribly out of line.

No that was Mike Parkins' one, I was only able to pop to the party for 5 hours on sat evening

Did not pay that for my Hobbit, there's also Alien to compete with. I would love to own a CC one day but this is too rich for my blood. Best of luck with the sale though.

When the internet was invented? Its been the same on every forum I've ever been a member of. Its never bothered me but I know at least one other person it really winds up :).

Back on topic, awesome machine that I can't afford. Someone close to me please buy it.

Just been checking out this CCC code on youtube. Bet this would be a top 5 pin if that code was standard and the machine wasn't so rare.

What's the deal with the improved code, is it likely that PPS will ever be able to remake it with the new code?

Unlikely you'll ever need the original cpu again! CCC is a masterpiece

CCC conversion is plug and play if you get the kit off Eric. He's spent along time developing a really nice kit that allows you just to swap out the original boards for the upgraded setup including custom adapter plates for all the new computer hardware. I use them myself in some of my own rewrite projects.
 
Played this exact game many times and it is top quality :thumbs: I'm really surprised it's up for sale tbh....GLWS :)
 
Some pictures, it's in a bit of an awkward spot as it's meant to be a keeper but I did buy it in 2008 and all things come to an end. The boards, wiring and cabinet have never been cleaned and the playfield hasn't had anything taken off it to clean, so as you can hopefully see even though it's undocumented it's clearly HUO.
