I’ve looked into the transport options once you arrive at Budapest airport.
I think the best option is bus route 100E, this takes about 30-40 mins to the city centre and runs every 6-10 mins during the day (less frequent at night). If you’re going straight to Game Galaxy then you want to get off at the first stop called Kalvin ter M, this is then a 10 min easy navigation walk to the venue.
The 100E costs 2,200 HUF (£5) each way and you can pay on the bus with a contactless card on the reader next to the driver. Note that these readers are only on 100E and one other route so if you need other bus routes for whatever reason you should buy tickets on the BudapestGO app.
Your alternative is a taxi, which you should apparently expect to cost about 13,000 HUF (£30) and take a similar amount of time.
