Hum from ColourDMD ON Champion Pub

Hey guys,

When I turn on my Champion Pub I'm getting a hum through the speakers and I believe it's being caused by the colourDMD.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Hello Rich i would give Sean at Pinball Palace a mail ,he knows all there is to know on those colour dmd 's he may have come across that problem before

I highly doubt it is anything to do with the colour display I would try turning it on without the colour display disconnected it more than likely the transformer that buzzing which is pretty normal on this game

Has the colour dmd got its own power supply ? Have had issues (not with a pinball machine) where the transformer (to run a small lcd screen)was causing interference when close to the audio cables I fitted some ferrite cores to the leads and it got rid of the noise/interference

That era wpc hum like **** anyway. It’s just what they do.
