HS2 Solenoids 1-8 not working

Bit of an own goal. After some “maintenance” didn’t connect the knocker in my HS2 correctly and the cable shorted.

Thought that it would have just blown a fuse (F105?), but the fuses are fine - but in test mode - solenoids 1-8 no longer work.

Any suggestions on what to check?

Everything else seems to work ok.

Thanks for any pointers.
 
Thanks - I did check them F101-F105 with my multimeter, also checked the Solenoid secondary fuse. Will swap them with new ones tomorrow to be sure.

But so far doesn’t seem to be a fuse - which is worrying me...

You are removing the fuse before testing, yes??

Solenoids 9+ do work in the test so guessing that rules out the door switch? Also in game play ramp and diverted and sling shots aren’t working. So don’t think it’s the door switch unfortunately

F112 (5A slow blow) is the solenoid secondary protecting 50v solenoid supply from BR3, I'd try testing / replacing that.
 
Just use your meter to look for the solenoid voltage at any or all of the solenoids that aren’t working. If you see the voltage at either tab, then the fuses and power supplies are ok and the solenoids are not being driven.

It might be that the short data cable needs reseating but as you think it was caused by incorrectly connecting a solenoid it’s more likely that the driver board is been damaged and the chip that drives these 8 solenoids needs replacement.
 
Thanks all - it was a voltage problem. The voltage wasnt returning from the Knocker - my crimp on the new connector was the problem. Sparks got me looking at fuses etc!

Back on (the) track now! Cheers
 
Glad it’s fixed. But the thing you fixed wouldn’t have stopped 1-8 working. More likely you’ve disturbed someThing else whilst fixing and inadvertently fixed’ it. I would suspect the short grey data cable.
