After about 30 mins play, i noticed that the two flipper coils were very warm. Not smoking/ smelling, but I would say almost uncomfortable to hold for more than a few seconds

There is also a very noticeable transformer hum when you activate the flipper buttons, and it gets louder when both are pressed together

The game itself plays fine.

This is my first stern game. Is this normal please ? Or might i have a Fault ?

Thanks

The hum is the flipper coils, it can be reduced by putting spring washers in and by swapping pawl and link over to Bally Williams ones, in general though I just turn up the volume :)

The heat is normal, you can normally fry eggs on Stern flipper coils after an hours play
