Tap was among my dream themes. Still, glad it’s out there and available in Blighty.

What’s going on with that first pic? Looks like the sheer weighty majesty of Stone’enge sunk the playfield!

All of us here at Homepin welcome David to the Homepin family as one of our valued and trusted agents. We are proud that all of our agents, once joining with us, stay with us. This creates stability and promotes trust to our customers worldwide.

Something that many may not be aware of is our lifetime warranty on all PCBs that we make in house. If you have a problem with any Homepin PCB simply ask your agent for assistance.

David, congrats on the deal. i’d honestly thought this was dead and buried as literally nothing has been seen of it since last year in Australia. The machine seriously needs a push with some decent hi-res photography, some decent rules and game descriptions/explanations AND most importantly some decent video with a team who knows what they are doing. I’m happy to help shoot some material and you can get Gonzo Flipperama (Kris and Spence) who are the best in the U.K. at this sort of thing and I’m sure woukd love to cover it. i‘d love to see what TIST can do. Kris is on here as I’m sure you’re aware 👍🏻

Hi, We have taken the opportunity since Pinfest in Newcastle Australia to refine dozens of small things and make some playfield tweaks that showed up during the show. In about a week we are booked in for the full CE approval testing in Taipei but the problem is the testing center is at the other end of the country and requires me to stay there for several days while they test it and report back. After the test it will be taken to a British pub in Taipei (Parklife Drinking Room) and I have a professional video team from Canada......... correction ENGLAND! lined up who will make a promotional video.

All of these things take a lot more time and money than most would believe. We are doing what we can on our limited budget and now that Lunar New Year has passed we are suddenly attracting lots of responses for staff from our ads. Staff here will NEVER change jobs before LNY because they all expect a VERY large yearly bonus at this time. Some newspapers report some companies here paying a bonus of three years salary!

With the CE tests done, a promo video ready to show and a few new staff ready to train we will be in full swing within a few weeks.

This is great news. Homepin make great parts that keep our machines going and I have been waiting patiently to order more Homepin parts.
Just need to find my list of bits.

We’re super excited to be able to bring homepin products into the Uk to make it easier for you guys to get these items and for us to get spinal tap into the Uk market
We will be working closely with Mike and homepin to provide the best service we can
Prices for parts should be sorted and on the website this week
And we will be opening up pre order for spinal tap as well once the pricing is finalised
Exciting things ahead

Excited to see some proper footage and info of 'Tap - if it turns out to be good, can see myself getting one some day down the line (if one comes up on the used market /or is competitively priced NIB).
Any idea as to how many might be hitting/allocated to the U.K?
As they aren’t made here Den, I’m sure that the only ones that come over will be the pre-orders. I hope they can get a bunch on location. If I were Dave I’d also start hitting up the celebrity market. They have money to burn and a TST would be very cool to them and right up their alley. I can think of 20 celebs off the top of my head who’d be interested in one. All the guys from Iron Maiden for a start! I was looking at Bruce Dickinson’s IM LE only the other day. He loves a bit of Tap Across The Water lol

Currently only pre order games will be comming over and this should be open for pre order next week

We will try bring as many games over as we can also for locations to play in the wild

We should have a video for this game over the next few weeks or so to show some proper gameplay

Pre order and more info will be updated to the website next week

We’re not sure yet on how many will be coming to the Uk but we will try to get as many as possible

I do not know if this will happen as Gonzo does Pinball Heaven review videos.

It's terrible when influencers favour one thing over another BUT it's good that you have called them out as "POSSIBLY" being biased.

How could that possibly help pinball in any way or add any credibility to ANY review they might do? (assuming your comment is correct).

Please PM me Gonzo's contact details if you have them and allow me to contact him and ask directly OR, Gonzo, if you see this message please email me directly sales@homepin.com so we can discuss.

Mike, it’s true he does Pinball Heaven stuff but in no way exclusively. they have no ‘biases at all. They just love pinball and want to promote it. He’s done Thunderbirds and The Jetsons before. Throw me a DM and I can put you in touch. If you can get a machine over to the U.K. they’d love to cover it 👍🏻

Sorry I'm late to this thread, I must have missed the notifications.

I must clear some of this stuff up though, because the first line of your post is laughable. The insertion of words like 'Possibly' and "assuming your comment is correct" is an awfully transparent attempt at trying to mitigate some quite sh1tty comments.

Firstly, Pinball Heaven are my channel sponsors and give me access to a lot of machines. Of course I'm going to direct people to PH to buy their new games . . . . that's how sponsorship works right?

@philpalmer has NEVER told me to be biased to any particular machine. NEVER. I call machines as I see them, and I can be very critical of Stern games which PH stock and sell. I was quite savage about Pinball Brothers Queen machine whilst recording a video at Pinball Heaven HQ.

I frequently play and film other games including your own Thunderbirds. That game sits at the very bottom of the pile on Pinside, yet I reviewed it and thought I did so fairly despite it breaking down during filming. My conclusion was . . . . the game was far better than Pinside would have people believe.

I also intended on filming Spinal Tap and P3 Multimorphic at Pinfest, neither of which are stocked by Pinball Heaven. We've even had Jerry from Multimorphic on the podcast.

As for me 'getting in touch'. We've already done that mate, have a search on your DM's. I tried to get you a chinwag, but you were frequently busy and overseas. When we did make some progress you were reluctant to use headphones for the recording . . . . in short it was hard work.

Your distributor Dave is a nice guy who has always been very friendly towards me. I was actually looking forward to playing the game as the theme appeals to me.

I'm more than happy to feature Spinal Tap on the channel, and in the interest of fairness (and whatever perceived theories you were blabbering on about), I'll just film others playing it and and we'll harvest their opinions rather than my own.

Can't say fairer than that.
