Hi all

Loving the Hobbit pin I bought from another forum user last year (my first pin). Have managed so far with some minor repairs and modifications but I wanted to pick your brains because I start pulling things apart on this one....

I noticed that the W on DWARF wasn’t dropping as it should do (see vid below)

After opening her up I found that the spring had snapped and needed replacing. I bought a replacement coil just in case that needed doing, but in the meantime swapped the spring from the D to the W to test it (see vid below)

What do you reckon? Does the coil want swapping out?

Cheers
Dan

Item 22 is broken - the plastic stop on the W target. This is a common thing on most pinball drop targets that do not return up.

Here is a couple of screen shots from the online manual. If you download the proper one from the JJP site you will see more detail.

Fantastic - thank you! Will get on with fixing that this week.

Just to follow up on this. The part in question was impossible to source, Phil at PH was trying for many months also. In the end I’ve ordered part 03-8034 Williams single drop target rest ledge from Marco. These are exactly the same size as the JJP one so I have replaced all and didn’t even need to fashion new holes! Put them on with screw and nylock nut to prevent arsing about with rivets in future.

Hopefully this will help any other owners who have same issue.
