Well after having a rather **** day / week I thought id rig up the replacement under cab lighting on my tz that Andy dreads sent me (my table lift obliterated the original strip). So anyway when I powered up the flippers went up it made a buzz now nothing other than the lights work. I've replaced 2 blown fuses but still the same what should I be doing / looking at. I think its due to the connector being overloaded.

"Help me pinball info your my only hope"

Get your multi meter out (might as well wipe my a**e with it for all I know how to use it but that's what clever people do)
Other than that I would cry.
sorry, not much help really.
Good luck

First take away anything new you've done (so disconnect the connector). Then try again

Also get thermal fuses for testing purposes

Was fuse f112 and f116, I just plugged it into where it was originally j116 think it is which already has 2 things plugged into it.

I did unplug it and fired it up but no change. I'm gonna try unplugging the door flasher mod tonight see if that makes a diff that's connected to an under pf connector

Today it's even bloody worse! Thought I'd disconnect the door flashers just incase it was that and it is more lifeless than yesterday! No life at all apart from a blue strip light mod someone put in. That comes on and it does that start up bong sound and that's it. Help :0( I don't know what to do. Knew I shouldn't of bothered replacing the under cab light!

Post a picture showing which LEDs are lit across the CPU and power board.

I'm clueless when it comes to board stuff. May try later or wait till andy replies. I'm a lil but reluctant to try the process of elimination incase keeping turning it in and off causes more damage. Unless it makes no difference?

I've not touched any of the ribbons ever all I did was plug the under cab light back in where it used to be which I think has overloaded something as there's 3 connectors on that connector. It prob just got away with it before because it was a single strip now it's a double because I didn't want it down the middle so I can use my table lift it's prob to much for the connector

CPU isn't booting judging by the LEDs, a similar problem to what @lukewells had in this video

Not saying the solution will necessarily be the same. But an unlit D20 indicates a problem with the ROM.

2 lengths of 2x1 on top of your lift table and you can have your LEDs down the middle. Not ideal but fine if you are just moving the machine around in your living room.

Disconnect the top two ribbon cables on the CPU. See if the CPU boots then.

Can I plug in the existing mods into the unused connectors j131 or j132 so as not to overload again? Or are they not powered?

Cheers guys for your help.

Does anyone know the answer to my connector question?

Also while I'm at it does anyone know if the latest rom is required to get the door flashers to work? I've got 9.2 at the mo. I've tried google with no avail
