Help with wiring on Hurricane

Hi, hoping someone can please advise me on the 12v wiring for J116/J118 on Hurricane please. My Hurricane came with the backbox separate - everything was nicely labelled, so easy to put back together. The only problem is, I've damaged the wiring that was going into J118 via a couple of Z-connectors.

The photo below shows what I have now got. The coin mech board grey/yellow wire is straight into J116. There is also: a grey/yellow wire from the playfield opto boards going into a z-connector (along with corresponding black wire); a loose grey/yellow wire coming from the relay: a loose grey/yellow wire coming from the backbox disc motor; another loose z-connection with a grey/yellow and a black wire which go into the connector labelled J118; plus some broken wire. (The grey/yellow wires are marked with green tape on the photo).

I am guessing that the grey/yellow from the opto boards and the black ground wire were meant to flow through the z-connectors into J118, then the relay grey/yellow came in via the first z-connector and the disc motor grey/yellow came in via the second z-connector.

With the wiring now being broken in several places, what would be the best way for me to get this all connected back up?

Would appreciate any advice on this, please.

Thanks, Paul

If the game has not got opto flippers then if you are not going use coins you don’t need the 12v to the cab I would just do away with the link if you have enough pins on the board

I was thinking the 12v was going to the cab for the ramp opto board (A-13901) and the drop target opto board (C-13205).

Cab should just do cab other s should do playfield
J116 j117 and 118 are all the same 5v 12v and ground have a look in the manual it may tell you there

Sorry, I get what you mean now, thanks. The manual has got J118 for the relay and J116 for coin/optos/spinning disc. So, I could forget the coin and use J116 and J118 to do the other 3 in whatever way I like? Are z-connectors a decent way of bringing wires together, or is there something better?
