Help with Fathom XBall

The oddest thing, My Fathom is giving extra balls for scoring thresholds. It IS set on 03 for self test items 16 & 17 as per the manual but it just doesn't give a credit but an extra ball. It works as expected for 00, 01 and 02 but not 03. Alltek board.
Anyone got a fix? It's too easy!

I've found this on some machines, I've always thought of it as a Bally funny. Ignore that setting (put both to 00?) and use the independent altek dip switch setting suing the game selection dip switch (I think it's switch 8 to on - all off the top of my head)...

Yes that's an option. Never used to do it.
