Been getting my BSD all cleaned up and started to swap out the lights with LED's, its the first pin I've given this a go on and I've got some questions if anyone can share any wisdom.

  1. Got some big bayonet style LEDs that fit into the playfield but they sit flush with the playfield/ lower than the playfield. Did I get the wrong ones?
  2. I've swapped out the lights in the back glass but there are some big wedge type bulbs (about 7) and the only LEDs I have that would fit are white flasher LED's if I put the flasher LEDs in the slot will they just work as white lights or should I get specific ones?
  3. The LED's I've put in the pop bumpers push up against the caps. It might just be a tight fit but I also think I've possibly got the wrong ones here too?
  4. One of the out lanes has a plastic patch over some damage but the plastic is coming up and the edge around the hole is starting to splinter. Is it best to just leave this or try and peel it off and replace it?
I've added some photos to try and help show the bits.

So those bulbs sitting flush with the playfield don’t have the dome caps, they are flat otherwise they would sit normal height like the others.
The plastic you refer to is Mylar. Read @JAG555 buck Hunter shop log for a cracking explanation by @Biff on how best to tackle that.
Those pop bumper bulbs will just need to be tilted at the base of the holder to get them to fit so they’ll be slightly diagonal in the bumper housing.
And flashers go in the backbox in the larger slots . If they’re led flashers they’ll just flash like the old 906 style ones did.
