Guns n roses help

Hi ,

It's not launching the ball when i pull the trigger on my guns n roses machine , any idea's on possible problems or what to look at / check.

I'm new to owning a pinball machine so have no idea what the problem is.

Thanks for the help , don't know how to access the switch test on the menu , but I do have a copy of the manual so should be able to find out.

Will give it a go and let you know how it goes.

Did the checks and it's the laser kick assembly 23-800 coil thats not working. Thanks much appreciated :)
 
Wrong coil
Really needs to be summat like a 22-550 for launch coil as it's a bit of an achilles heal on the G n R.Measure its resistance as if it is a dead short ie 0 or 1 ohms, or greater than 6 ohms that is your problem.It it is a dead short that could also have taken out the transistor and/or fuse.Where are you?As a pinhead may be local to help you out-I am in North Wales

Laser kick is for the kickback in the LH lane.This would not stop the ball launching,unless that coil had taken out the solenoid fuse

Sorry mate , really appreciate yours and everyones help. I just work abroad and I'm away quite a lot and sometimes don't get a chance to
check the forum until i'm back in UK.
I changed the coil and it works fine now.
