Hi All,

Another nice issue with the waterworld.

The solenoid fires to flick the right flipper but it doesn’t return. Appears the coil is knackered.

The coil in the machine is a GTB29876. Does anyone have one or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks

Dave

Nothing to do with the coil. It looks like the spring is getting caught on the plunger link where it is worn away and that you need a new plugger link.

coil looks ok. does the plunger move freely? if not maybe the coil sleeve is deformed? if it moves freely. check the end stop they wear out /deform

When the flipper sticks up ,switch the machine off . If the flipper stays sticking up then it will be mechanically , if the flipper returns back down when the power is switched off then it will be a board fault .

Is there a circlip missing from where the plunger attaches? Could that be causing the plunger to be out of line and binding.

I noticed that the flipper only has one bolt holding the end stop. But didn't notice that M4carp had already mentioned it.
