Good point made is gottieb far more popular in Europe but uneconomic to ship whole games . Also gottieb parts like flippers etc amongst the most expensive when you need them.

Thanks for the input but it’s not in valuations it’s for sale.

Indeed. My standard blurb applies to this as to ALL For Sale threads. This does seem to be happening more and more frequently, and can ultimately put people off listing pins for sale on here .

Been said before ........Please guys try to refrain from turning For Sale posts into 'pricing free-fire zones'

Sellers can ask what they please - no point interfering.

If its overpriced it will probably sit unsold anyway, if its on the money it will go soon enough, if its a bargain it will last minutes :)

Ollie don’t take it to hart what people put on here projects are a real pain you do the right thing by listening on here and get slaughtered on things

You list as parting out and you are the biggest ******* ever for scraping a game

You sell over seas and you are flogged and stoned to death

I have never had a problem with scraping a game I have scraped loads if you have offered on here then so be it and you are keeping another pin alive at the end of the day

Ivan is absolutely spot on with this silly comments is doing you no favours
I have more and more pinball info customers who would rather px a game with me or sell outright than list here due to people taking the **** or silly comments good for me as a seller but bad for you as a buyer
The super mint taf gold I sold on here was a prime example lots of silly comments if you want it buy if not keep stum the buyer in the end was over the moon and another potential long term customer for me

Thanks very much for the reply chris.
The Addams I knew was missing a few bits which is why I didn’t pay top money for it and I will be keeping it.
I used to collect pinballs about 8 years ago and had all the top titles but sold them to build a games room and then got into Arcade video games. I now have over 60 Arcade games bjt have recently started getting back into pinballs. Currently in my collection I have 16 which are all Williams and not for sale. Only the ones in the recent pickup are for sale.

Alpha 1 will be listing the Williams with pictures and descriptions.
I didn’t want to upset or mislead people just surprised at how quick people jump on you.

Let’s hope these do sell!!!

Thanks
Steve

Reduced to £700.

If it doesn’t sell I will keep it.
Too nice to break and worth far more in parts.

Hi,

There's no need to be so venomous in your response to me dude. It was late and I incorrectly said DMD twice. I have edited DMD to correctly state what I meant.

Steve has rushed his description of this and I am trying my best to honestly state what I think it should be and yes how to recoup some money back. No one is going to do a playfield swap on a Tee'd Off - so if it is scrapped then it's sad but so be it.

Let's be honest here on one hand you're saying it's scrap and on the other you're chastising me for offering to part it out. Make up your mind. Say something positive.

I'm not chastising you for offering to part it out. I think that would be perfectly valid given the condition and game. But as a whole machine it doesn't become the value of its parts. Totting up the potential yeild from parts does not make the machine worth that figure.

Just make your descriptions actually bear some relation to reality and people won't jump on you.

The machine is listed for sale as is or like Oll said it will be parted out.

Let’s just leave the for sale thread on this pin to do its thing.

Thanks

ive been reading this thread quite closely , as a very very newbee with only 2 machines i have been toying with getting a bit of a project to tinker with and learn a bit,now all of these listed have been beyond my current ability (not on cosmetics,im pretty good at that) but have always been listed with a good range of photos,so for me the description and the photos make it easy for me to judge for myself as to what there like,im really surprised at some of the adverse comments especially as this is a site for enthusiasts, maybee its just me and ive got it wrong again.i spent all my life in the motor trade and have seen real bucket cases fetching really good money as somebody just fancied the challenge(and ive done a fair few of these), or because they needed a few bits for a current build, maybee pinball just isnt the same,i dont really know what point im making but i feel its a pity that there is s much negativity, and in my humble opinion something is always worth the value of its parts to the right person.clearly the gent selling has made a bit of a gamble buying so many machines blind but if there wernt people like him willing to win a few and lose a few their would be far less machine coming into the country ? just my view of course , good luck with your "for sale listings " im sure you will come out ok and get to keep a few for yourself.

Buy it.

if it was a battered old car or within my skill set i might of just done that, but i need to be mindful with my very very limited ability whilst venturing into the world of pinball tinkering.everyone has to start somewhere but im afraid this particular project is beyond my current expectations of my abilities.
