Hi Folks,

Stripping a Gottlieb (playball) for parts, did come out of a running machine that was broken down for a resto, not happening, lost the love with it when I found SS games.
Take a look at the pictures, the parts are FILTHY and will need a service before being used.

message on here with what you want and I can send you a price :)

I also have a full set of used metal parts, a cabinet with backbox, and a gottlieb playball playfield

I hate to see any game being broken - As you haven't put any photos up yet I can't tell just how bad it is but are you sure it can't be saved? Muck and grease aren't usually an issue, but damp and woodworm can be.
If the game has to go then I am interested in the cabinet (main and head, with fittings) if it has no woodworm

The cab and head has historical woodworm im afraid!

IT was a full working game 6 months ago. coin door, the screw etc,
only thing it doesn't have is legs and a back glass,

There isnt a manual plunger with this game, it was the first game to fire the ball from the flipper buttons from between the middle of the flippers just like someone was pitching the ball! pretty cool as its a baseball theme!

Idea on prices of the bigger stuff :
Cab and backbox £100 - youll have to collect, ideal for a VP
Door with coin mech £70
playfield £65
side rails £20 for the pair
pop bumpers £7 each - missing the cap on the top.
Score reels which are Decagon: £15 each - NEED A SERVICE
Apron £20
Can you PM me a picture of the door and the coin entry plate please

Decagon score reels all 6 of them SOLD
the three chime unit - SOLD
bell unit SOLD

the cabinet and back box £50, just come and get it, both very much salvageable, the backbox has been resprayed in a high gloss green.

These Gottlieb EM mechs clean up beautifully, I've restored far worse looking mechs to a beautiful condition. Seems such a waste to part out a working machine just because you fell out of love with it 🙄

Win some and lose some, on the plus side,
The parts could help restore 3/4 other machines for other people.

As do I normally, but it's stripped and lots of parts already sold so that's that I'm afraid

I guess we see things differently then... I prefer to actually save machines, I wouldn't dream of parting out a working machine, especially an EM
Agreed - there are plenty of spares out there without losing a working game, and in my experience most games don't need much to get them up and running unless they have been robbed previously

I think the problem here going by the photos is the degree to which the game had already been broken down for restoration, so it would have been a job for someone to put it all back together.

I'd of happily put it all back together, oh well.... I guess this is a 'loose some' scenario.

Picture 6 & 10 now sold

pictures updated of what's actually left.
Playfield, side rails, playfield plastics still available

Hyperctie time: not that I agreed with parting out the machine but do you still have the chime unit? 😂

It's sold sorry, but would of been four times the price for you - hypocrite tax and all that :p:p:rofl:
