Did anyone see the repeat of Find It, Fix It, Flog It this week? With Henry Cole (motor bike nut) and his crew who find stuff to do up and sell at ridiculous prices to idiots who should know better.

Well, I saw this coming up so set me digi-box to record it, and though it’s usually one of them refurbishing whatever, in this instance their 1966 barn find Central Park EM machine was beyond their knowledge so they farmed it out to Doug from The Vintage Pinball Company who charged them £1600 to bring it up to full working order (cabinet was still showing being knocked about a bit), which an independent antiques expert then valued at £2500.

And I notice that The Vintage Pinball Company has one for sale, fully refurbished etc. etc. for £ 6500

So whatd’ya think………………..😁

As with most of these shows, the valuations are always over inflated bull**** to make it look more than it is.

The only expert TV show valuer I would trust is the infamous @Mooseman

There was a similar discussion over on Ukvac about a Ms Pacman that was on one of these shows, bought not working and in a state for an inflated price and because the CRT monitor was knackered and boards not working correctly they stuck a 60in1 in it and put some new deals on the cabinet really badly like really badly the front of the cabinet wasn't even centered and the experts then reckoned it was worth £3k+
