Word of advice - if you are drilling a lock as per the video above.....for the love of god wear some eye protectors ...unlike the guy in the video who despite saying that metal shards will fly everywhere seems to care more about protecting his carpet than his eyesight

So true my stepdad (who's an engineer) was milling something and a shard flew off. Which happened to be when he'd taken his safety specs off cuz they had steamed up. It had pretty much sliced off his lens and iris. So be careful people

Same goes for sanding down cabs mask up people especially some of the old machines they prob have lead in the paint.

Great thread, thank you very much! I'm going to be replacing my first coil later on today with a nos bally coil - feeling much more confident now.
