Trying to get back into the hobby after having sold up when work came to an end.
All back to normal now and have managed to save some funds.
I would love a Game of Thrones, I wish I had the last one which was on here at £4300, I now see it's for sale at Williams Amusements at over £6k, I also see some of my old games on his site at also crazy money.
I don't think I'm going to find a Game of Thrones, so next on the list I think would like a Walking Dead and Simpsons Pinball Party.
Anything really, I like the Stern games, so please let me know if you have anything I might be interested in.
Many Thanks
Robert

Prices are eye watering on that Williams Amusements site.
Yes and I have no idea how 3 of my old pins have ended up there such as sopranos, but I recognise them from the powder coating and other little things I did.

How much did you sell them for? what crazy price hike have they added?
My old sopranos went for £3k on here, it's over £5k now. I understand he is retail and has a showroom, but if you pay those prices you would never get your money back.

Yeah its a tricky one, they are not aimed at the hardcore pinball enthusiast market i guess who can do there homework and make deals with other enthusiasts etc.. But more the walk in customer who thinks a pinball looks cool and wants it delivered and setup and if any issues for them to come and fix it.

Just to be clear. I didn't know anything about pins when I got my Fish Tales and wanted to go retail because I didn't have the confidence to vet a machine from a collector.

I went to Williams Amusements. I figured they'd have at least serviced the machine. My Fish Tales arrived with the wrong sized rubbers on the slingshots, at least five insert lights out, a recurrent error in the caster's club and a row of lights out in the backbox. There was a literal spiders web inside the cabinet and the playfield was filthy. I emailed asking some questions while I was trying to find out what was wrong with the left slingshot, and I was told to move the posts (something I had already realised was impossible).

So, basically, they'd done f**k all, and they had no idea how to fix any problems either...

That sounds shocking, sounds like it got wiped over for a quick 2k profit. I would of took many pictures and got them to have it back. I expect you payed close to £5k and you would of got much better quality from any member on here.

No, I didn't pay £5k, nowhere near, but it is missing its fish topper. I knew this when I bought it. .

I've now got all the (unique) parts for a new fish topper and am planning to scratch build a reproduction from instructions I found on the 'net.

Personally, I suspect he knew about the persistent ball jam and didn't know how to fix it... Luckily, it was an easy fix.

Just done a deal on The Walking Dead, will keep the post going as would like to find something else, Simpsons I think I would like next....
Many Thanks
