Good Travel Insurance

Can anyone recommend decent travel insurance please ?

This time last year I was stung for about 5 grand due to our government's insane response to Omicron, banning flights, changing flights, hotel quarantine etc

At that time only insurance policies bundled with Private Banking type products seemed to cover folk. Most, like me, with regular travel insurance got screwed

We used staysure this year when we went to the US... Misses ended up in Hospital (which is about par for the course for a Brittle Asthmatic after a massive Thunbderstorm kicks up loads of dust)... spoke to the Insurance Company who have a US arm who deal with US enquiries.... Gave them all the info... Gave the hospital the info for the company... and as far as i am aware it all got paid directly!!

More than likely not the cheapest, however with Covid cover etc they do seem to be fairly good..
