I think it's his Operation Thunder that's £400, not the Hook but £400 for an Operation Thunder is an absolute steal. I bought one recently (that I now need to shift because of cash flow issues) for £750. It's a solid, reliable table - really simple rules and some great shots. I doubt you will get such a perfect starter pin for such a rock bottom price.
Oh yeah, sorry, misread that. £550 is still a great price.

A pin that doesn't need any work at all is actually harder to find then you may think. The main problem you will find with any pinball machine is that they always break down in one way or another.
Weirdly thats part of the fun for me.
some very good pin restorers and tech guru's on here that can point you in the right direction for sure.

Cheers for the heads up . Yea I've not played the operation thunder before, played the hook, but I saw that it was sold? How much work is the pinball machine needing? I'm not afraid of a bit of tlc . Preferably post 90s machine I was looking for. 1000 is about my maximum budget. Thanks
