For Sale Godzilla Pro

To add balance, this was one listed at £8k and sold within hours...

You can’t compare that sale to this one have you read the listing it has every conceivable mod and upgrade available at the time and for want of a better phrase Super Loaded. Plus it was over a year ago and market is nowhere near what it is now.

Whoa Sorry !!

If a newbie gets fleeced, he ho, that’s how it works, buy some long trousers and get your hair cut, I know I’ve been fleeced and I’m sure that applies to all of us ?

It is not your job nor your invitation to ingress into another’s business regarding selling or buying of their property or possessions

Out of order my friend

MM 🐰

You've had a shocker here mate

Would you prefer this one ?

Not commenting about this particular price, but I think there is nothing wrong with pointing out a particularly high price.

If for no other reason than it protects a newbie coming along and buying it then finding out they've been ripped off.

This has been discussed time and time again, and the decision was made to allow comments on For Sale threads for this reason in particular.
I'm a relative newbie. We're not stupid, contrary to popular belief. 😅

Wakens the sleeping thread. I paid £7,500 including transport and set up, for the Pro one I brought. That was from a trade site. Normal trade price is around 8,563 for a Pro.
So the price asked was low. Both for the one I am getting, and the one in this thread.

That was over a year and a half ago, used Pro closer to the £6k mark now I would say depending on condition and mods but mods dont always add that much depending on the buyer. Also and there are lots of them about as it was one of the best selling news ones at the time, no official figures from Stern as they wont release them, but some say better selling than Addams Family did back in the day

I've bought a few pins on here, the members I have dealt with have been excellent.

I definitely don't post as much as I should. I do read the forums a lot.

But the above is why I'd think long and hard before posting a pin for sale here. I see it all the time.

I think if anything is say, above 10-15% of the hypothetical "going rate," there really is no need to comment. Older machines more difficult as they may come up for sale less often, condition and mods. And even in that case your going rate might not be someone else's.

Or say +/- £500 or more for newer machines.

If someone is in the position to drop £8,100 on a new pinball machine they are probably sensible enough to decide if they want to pay £7,500 for a nearly new one.

If someone posts a Leathal Weapon 3 for sale for £7,500, by all means make your comments to protect newcomers.

The above there is no issue with and it's not fair for the seller. All it will do is discourage people to list pins for sale and the losers in that case are the people on this forum.

OP - good luck.
Agreed about not wanting to post my pin for sale on here because of this. I've been toying with the idea of sale or trade, but quite frankly, I get put off by the attitude of some here. It's ridiculously aggressive and often descends into a bun fight.
I've mentioned this before.

To be fair if you look at all sale threads on here it's the exception rather than the norm. I've listed over a dozen games and never had an issue.

If you post a detailed advert with good pictures and an honest description people will like it. If you're not sure about prices you can ask for opinions on the "how much is it worth" thread. Happy to review if that helps?

Far less stress selling and buying here than elsewhere.

Godzilla is awesome but a lot about. Not seen an ex commerical one come up for sale so hard to price one of those but home use should be £6k stock with some mods adding value.

With my job I have to spend a lot of time on social media and honestly this place is paradise next to 99% of the internet. One or two wallys but you're always going to get that

Never had issues selling on here, price something right for the current market conditions, it usually goes pretty quickly.
