Long shot I know but after playing the one at Dan's yesterday I'm in the market for a GnR.
Stupidly turned down the opportunity to buy one last year.
Cheers

Well it's nice to know she's in safe hands....sort of!! Gutted to have missed the session and the opportunity to meet some of the fine fellows that grace this forum! That's a new issue to me with the sound dropping out, ive never had her turned on for a prolonged period (story of my life) did it happen after a few hours of play? Any ideas what it is or how to fix? Apologies John for the post hijack!!Jon you missed out on a fine night of pinball debauchery. about 15 folks in all i think, and everyone loved your GnR - the only issue it had was that occasionally the background music would just stop until the game was rebooted, or in menus until we selected it and put it back up to 100% (i don't think it likes being at a mere 75%). at one point late last night (me and Robin were up drinking and whatnot until about 4 or 5 i think) i had the lockdown bar off and wandered off to the kitchen, heard an enormous crash and realised the glass had slid itself out and smacked itself down in the floor. amazing that it didn't shatter, by rights i shoulda had a bucket of diamonds to show for that schoolboy error
we fixed the weak autolauncher (it was held on by one instead of three screws) and the flaky left kickback (bent the switch up a bit) but didn't bother trying to chase the sound issue any further as it was more fun to just play it and do air guitar solos
god i feel rough as a badger's **** now though, but at least the floor tiles have stopped spangling in technicolour
