On the pinball life site it says they specially manufacture (marked Guns-n-Roses) for extra power and I've seen them recommended on pinside. Coil 090-5032-00 should be 22-1080 perhaps they've reduced the windings which would make it more powerful:hmm:

Your photo shows 090-5030-00 (23-1100) fitted which according to the manual should only be on the upper flipper and 090-5032-00 (22-1080) to both lower flippers. The correct coil for the lower flippers is both a larger gauge (22 v 23) and less turns (1080 v 1100) hence lower overall resistance = more power.

The one you link above on pinparts is correct from the manual for the lower flippers but the way I read it pinballlife has made a special more powerful version specific to GnR, confusingly using the same coil number, these ones :-

Thanks for the tip I was looking for a manual online, I did have my suspicions they were wrong, I’ll be buying the 32’s for a little more power. Really appreciate all the info. Guys many thanks

One last question has anyone put a Gnr led kit in s machine and has it affected the electrics ? I prefer standard bulbs but less seem to pop better in Gnr ?
