GI Lighting LED replacements

Damn GI lighting issues!

Had problems with 3 of my pins because of this. T2 burnout at the connector. All of Star Wars is out and now a third of Demo Man is out. Seriously considering swapping out all the GI bulbs and replacing with LEDs on all of my pins.

What do you think?

I can highly recommend Mark Squires LEDs available from pinball mania. They give the appearance of incandescent with all the benefits if LEDs. Obviously they aren't 100% authentic to the look but it's a ruddy good compromise.

This is a problem fron there life in the arcades where they were on all day long.
Get the problem fixed (new connector or whatever else) and you will be fine once fixed.
Its not like they will be swiched on all day every day for it to happen again.

You need to fix the issue. Putting LEDs in wont solve it.
