Sold Ghostbusters Pro (straight sale) £6750

After a long time looking for a Ghostbusters and then getting one a few months ago, I have decided we must part ways. I am just not clicking with it at home. Funnily enough, when I played it on location I loved it.

It has stern art blades, Ecto 1 and scoop LED. Slimer is the updated version that registers hits every time too. Will come with additional rubbers (I have started swapping to a new glow in the dark set but work got in the way so not completed yet) and new balls added recently.

The backbox has a couple of small marks as seen in the photos.

I bought this for £6750 a few months ago and just looking for what I paid. I am open to trade deals too:

Stranger Things
Jurassic Park
Deadpool

If you have another machine open for trade then let me know too.

I am located in KY11. If doing a trade I am happy to do a collection/drop off or meet halfway depending on distance etc.

Daft question- have you tried dropping the level? The game looks pitched super high on your spirit bubble. Might play better at 6.5

Good catch on the photo! I have tried it lower and higher (which it’s at now). Just to see if I wanted it a little faster and frantic.

Wasn’t sure if I having TMNT at home previously made me accustomed to a more frantic game haha! Still just can’t click with it at the moment for some reason.

Wow ! a GB for sale, and you are a 15mins drive away from me

GB was also on our most wanted pins list. We currently have one on hire just now (due to leave in under two weeks) . We are going to miss it for sure, it is a great game but tough as hell.

I would love to own one but timing isn't that great unfortunately, though now I am buying some scratch cards when I pop out to the shop tonight haha.

Good luck with the Sale/Trade, do not think you will have to wait long, it is a very sought after Pin at the moment.

Those marks on the backbox will probably rub of with a damp cloth. GLWS I love my GB it’s bolted to the floor.

Just played a GB pro in NQ64 in Newcastle tonight- glad the ball save is generous on the code. It certainly gives me a lot of practice slap saving. My non pinhead friend loves this pin and has managed to get on the leaderboard and wallop me . GLWTS- nice looking pin

Of the pins you’re looking at, JP pro edges it more me over DP pro. Played both and don’t like the clunk on some of the DP shots. JP wire forms are amazing . GZ pro played and loved it, ST pro couldn’t get into it despite loving the show. Hope you find what you’re looking for

The latest code on Ghostbusters (1.17) makes it a much more forgiving game doesn’t it.
I’m an average player and honestly I don’t find it to be the difficult game everyone suggested to me it was. I think the ball save is more than generous and there aren’t many games where I don’t manage to get an extra ball or two.

Download the Pinguy app for your phone. Makes setting the pitch and level of your table far more accurate. If the level and pitch is out of whack then the shot geometry will be out of whack too and the game just won’t play as intended.

I have been inundated with trade offers but nothing that has really grabbed me away from the list above.

I have been able to source a GZ deal but need to sell Ghostbusters to go to that deal.

So straight sale now at £6750 - I do have a few interested in a sale but nothing concrete just yet as I was holding out for a trade etc.

Congrats on the sale. There is SO much you can do to a GB to get it to play how you like it. It’s a really challenging game with frustrations, but most of them you can overcome with some tweaks. I was put off it at first 6 years ago by all the feedback but now, 6 years later there’s few more beautiful and entertaining games I’d rather have in my collection. Horses for corses I guess... and you can’t go wrong with a Deadpool lol
