Well I have now just bought my dream pin which is TH LE (very recently listed on here) so I have therefore reduced the price to £3995 without the spares.
However If it doesn’t sell I will tombstone and carefully store away to make way for 3 incoming pins. Note to self: must tell the missus about this at some point!
I may be interested in a part ex for an older project pin as long as it’s a 90’s one plus money my way or for a newer JJP/Stern LCD Pin with money your way.
There are a few older pins I’ve yet to own TS, WH20, TSPP & LOTR spring to mind but I’m happy to revisit any Williams/Bally pin as my little lad Gabe hasn’t had the pleasure and I will enjoy the experience even more having dad/son battles together then just move on at some point.
Up for sale is my Funhouse a game I have owned since 1991 in HUO. It was the very 1st Pinball I bought and I thought it would be the last I let go. However in the last year or so my 7yr old son Gabe has shown an interest and started playing my pins on a daily basis, usually around 7am “god bless his little cotton socks”.
So I thought I would get FH out of retirement and let Gabe loose on it only to find some idiot (me) had not only left the batteries in the CPU board but never changed them since storing. Doh! An expensive lesson learned yet again so Off to P.H. Via Martin for Phil & ChrisB to get it sorted for me. A replacement CPU board, sound board repair and Rudy overhaul amongst a couple of other minor fixes it came back to me last week as good as new.
However when I set it up and the Bairn finally had his 1st go he was quite unimpressed which sortof didn’t surprise me due to the fact we had both just spent the following few weeks playing TH which Phil@PH had kindly loaned us for the Xmas period. So rather than put it back into storage I am now offering it up for sale here along with lots of spares.
The FH itself is a culmination of a 10yr search for the perfect example, my original FH was the only pin I owned for several years and had a lot of use even though it was HUO. So when I eventually decided to buy a few pins I thought it would be a good chance to get it restored to better than original so bought 8 more FHs (yes 8) along with a beautiful DP PF I sourced from Germany.
I dropped the best 5 of the 9 at ChrisBs, scrapped 2 and sold 2 to make room as the garage could only store 34pins and I had more on the way. Chris made my grail FH (this one) another nice example which I sold to a friend, Chris bought one himself and what was left was also moved on as project pins.
I do not have to tell anyone how good ChrisBs restorations are and this FH was no exception, although it was several years ago it was the same high standard of detail he puts into his work and like I said earlier it has had very little use since due to being stored so I’m guessing maybe 50 games at max! From what I remember it was a full nut & bolt resto with replacement DP PF and redecaled to perfection. It also had a set of cliffys fitted along with some plastic protectors.
Spares include a populated PF although a few damaged and missing bits, a speaker panel with display included and a large box of bits and pieces inc Rudy jaw ect.
The cabinet has a few scuffs which you can barely see unless you really scrutinise it, so I have taken some close up pics which TBH make them look worse than they actually are.
PRICE £4995 which will include all the spares above (pics below)
I am not interested in a part ex at this time as I’m short of room however I’ll throw out the bed in the spare room if anyone is parting out TH gold (money your way obviously) If it does not sell I will list on eBay for the same price but without the spares.
I would highly recommend anyone to come view the pin in person (cash on collection) and inspect to their hearts content but I am also happy to let it go via Martin as long as payment has been cleared via BACS. If I’ve left anything out or if anyone wants further pics just ask and if anyone wants to chat about the pin feel free to pm me for my mobile number.
Thanks for looking Col
