Funhouse main fuse blows

Hi;
I just moved a funhouse machine, was working perfectly before & after moving, but after a day or so the main cabinet fuse blew.

there’s a sticker on the box saying ‘4a slow blow’ but I read online that it might need a 5a?

does anyone know why this might have happened, or if I should use a 5a sb instead

Thanks!

Fuses get stressed with age and can eventually blow as a result, without any sort of failure event.

Perhaps just replace with a new one of the same rating and see how it goes.

thanks everyone; the person I sold the machine to changed the fuse since then but it blew again (they’re saying it happens on power on/off).

I’ll tell them to try a 5a sb. Is there anything else that might be causing it? I never had this happen before.

The last thing I did to it was fit a 5v daughterboard but I can’t imagine that having any impact.

As Chris said, probably the line filter
