Well I suppose in an ideal world it would have been posted in the 'Whats it worth' thread, and then in the 'For Sale' section. I did think this when first posted, thought about moving it, didnt![]()
Yes but now Dave has edited his post which means my post no longer makes any sense!! Where will it end??! It's chaos. Chaos I tell thee. Nothing makes sense anymore.

So you're to blame as well.Hahahaha - and me!![]()
Woah there horsey. I wouldn't go that far. £1750 is strong money for a FT. Like I say, if you want a minty one for your collection, you'll pay a premium. FT is a £1k game otherwise. You'll never recoup your labour costs. I've got about £3k into a sodding Taxi!!! Is it worth it?? Hell no, £1500 tops I reckon. When something sells that quick, there's proof the price was too low.
But as long as you're both happy then who cares. Congrats!

Nice one Daz at least you doubled your money in 12 months!!!!Back in 2007 I bought a very nice Fish Tales with zero wear on the playfield, the only downside was a faded cab. Paid £300 ish which was a a fair price for a average Fish Tales as there were plenty around and ranged from £400 to £500. So I thought I would make it a nice one all round by 're decaling it and having a peachy fresh good as new Fish Tales. At the time Fish Tales was not one of the desired titles thus it was cheap and unloved by some, not all but people wanted the better titles that were out there. Anyway cut a long story short, after spending time striping it down and cleaning everything, replacing all broken plastics and redecaling it, it looked a thing of beauty. Then came the time to sell it, in 2008 it sold for £650, because that is what Fish Tales were worth, even peachy fresh and with new decals.
Yes times have changed but a machine will only sell for what someone is prepared to pay. Yes it was a bargin or was it ? In 2008 it was about right.
Thanks Dave - how did that ramp come on ?Good quality machines shopped properly to a high standard always sell!
