Hi Guys,

I am going to be selling my fully shopped FT, which I know a lot of you have seen at PLAY and NERG.

It has full LEDs throughout. Fully shopped down to every nut and bolt and the cab is re-decalled.

Price is £1750

Also open to sensible offer please via PM.

Here is the link on here to the full shop log so you can see the extent of it.

Thanks in advance

Kev

Tricky one when so much work has been done.
I suppose the best thing to say is what I would be prepared to pay
I'd put an average faded one around a £1k so I suppose id go £1500.
But that's just me.

Yeah I was thinking about 1500ish myself, maybe a bit more. You've done an awesome restoration job there, beautiful machine.

:o personally i would have said 2k... it is re-decalled and stripped right down and rebuilt....

If it was done by one of the main companies, you'd be looking at £3k+....

This is not to diminish the work you've done Kev as your FT looks very nice but I think trying to shift any FT at 2 grand is going to be a hard sell IMHO. I'm sure you could get that as @chris b has shown but you might be waiting a while for the right buyer to come along. Depends how urgently (or not) you need the game gone

This harks back to the robocop for sale thread. If a collector wants a minty fresh FT in their lineup, not many opportunities arise so you'll pay more. You've either gotta hold out for that buyer or let it go for a little less I suppose.

I played your Fish Tales at NERG and remember it well. It was the best looking "vintage" game there (is that even the right word lol?). Beautiful game, quality restore.

I'm with Paul on this, go for £2,000. Maybe a little more if you're happy to let it sit. Over in the states they are selling for £2500 easily in this condition, but in the UK if you want £2k for it then maybe push to £2.2 and let buyers haggle you with offers etc.

Does make me wonder if Ebay is the way to go these days - there's an unrestored, faded, non LED FT on there today to finish in 6hrs and it's upto £1320 already!!!

Thanks PeteB - gonna wait and see what other comments come in before I make my mind up !!!!

Cheers Kev

Yes came just now just thanks just seeing how it comes up after a Novus 3, wash and flame polish :)

How is the TAF looking after you have had time to study it in better detail?

do send me a pic of the flame polishing etc

The Taf is really sweet playfield is good could do with a mansion overlay but not essential - tell me again how you do those? Inside it is mint and cab isn't bad - may re-decal at some point. topper there and perfect. so well happy!!!!!!

Cheers Kev

This place is like dragon's den.

Nothing gets the dragon's more exercised than a business they consider to have been incorrectly valued.

Had I not bought my Shadow this week, I would have been very interested in this. Looks a beauty

Could you please now turn your skills to a fathom or banzai run

Now officially up for sale at £1750

Woah! Bargain at that price. I'd be tempted to buy it and stick it straight back up for sale, but I know I'd probably get executed on here for doing that. :p

I too have seen and played kevs fish tales ,a lot of work has gone in to it and plays like a dream.

You see. This is the problem with the edit button. The first post has been completely changed. Now it looks like someone put up a for sale ad and everybody then trashed it.

@Pudsey pinball - Kev asked people how much they thought he should charge for it. Hence all the replies with peoples opinions on its worth! But now it just looks like people being twats.

Time to kill the edit function! This just keeps happening.

Well I suppose in an ideal world it would have been posted in the 'Whats it worth' thread, and then in the 'For Sale' section. I did think this when first posted, thought about moving it, didnt
