Wanted Fruit Machine - asking here before I go over to the 'darkside' of the Fruity Forums... or even the dreaded FaceBook!

Dam love to own the sonic jpm
There's a Sonic on eBay, but it's a complete basket case. Only £300!

These JPM Vogue machines seem to hold their value really well. They're true classics from a golden era in arcades (when you could actually win).

I'll be selling Sonic soon, but it certainly won't be £300. Probably 5x that... It's a really nice machine.

I don't remember that cabinets being that colour, is that the norm for JPM?
The grey Vogue cabinets are from around 1993-1998ish. After that they did the Electra cabinet.

Totally agree 30 years too late. Now when I look back I played Fruit Machines more than Pinball. I could have bought an Adams Family then for what I spent in them.
I loved JPM too. However, I just emulate now and I am still looking for the one ROM I think it was Barcrest called Sidewinder do you remember that at all takes me back to my youth :)
Crystal's Sidewinder?

Yeah I saw it. I decided not to bother as he can be a bit tricky to deal with. Also had a broken button!

I was lucky and picked up a Casino Crazy not 5 mins from me, not working I had to buy one of the new cpu cards that a guy is making from scratch, it's now fully working and just needs a clean up and a few niggles sorted out like the coin mech etc

Looks good! Glasses nice?

Matt’s CPU cards are awesome.

Did you get any other jp decals with it? I hate £15! Too much of a jump.

Yes the glasses are very good, it suffered a small amount of damp to the cab but nothing drastic, I have the £4 repeat chance decals but might need a rom swap to go down to that?

it'd certainly play much better on £4, on 20p/play or something high. Those ROMS might support it still, dunno - you'd have to test.

I will once I get the coin routing sorted, had to fit a 126dfx and the old mech routing plug is not the same!

Nudge - Crystal glass machine considered.

How much do those monopoly’s go for these days?
Depends entirely on condition, and sometimes who you’re dealing with, all in my humble opinion.

Seen them between £750-£1300. Monopoly60 and Sonic often seem to suffer from unsightly rippling in the artwork. The Crystal version of Monopoly60 tends to be ok, but they’re a different prize structure and capped at 10p play.

Yeah that appears to be issue with a lot of these older silk screen fruities the artwork bubbles and starts to peal off.

I managed to pick up a fairly rare impact popeye and olive low tech machine, been buried under a staircase for donkeys years, so nice and dry in amazing condition

That looks cool Paul, not seen one before, I had a few of the dome type astra machines, one I really liked was called celebration I think?
They only made a select few of them, and then scrapped hundreds at the factory for some reason!

I’ll dig out some info and more pics later today 1663488533307.png1663488699213.jpeg1663489302642.png.
