Foo Fighters is EPIC

Couldn't find a thread for the Foos and I've been playing it loads. Before I bought it I'd played the Pro a little and had liked it quite a bit. Fast forward to now, got myself a Premium and it has absolutely blown me away. The pin is pure energy and fun. It's got a really unique and flowy layout and the code is super clever. I love the combotron idea, the UFO boom button, the multipliers, the van upgrades, everything about it works super cohesively . To me it is the perfect modern pinball package. I guess it helps if you're a Foo Fighters fan but to me Everlong blasting out as I'm hitting huge point shots is proper pinball magic at it's very best. Oh and it has a shout for greatest spinner shot of all time!

Couldn't agree more, I recently picked up the pro and I'm absolutely loving the shots.

I think combotron is one of my favourite pinball modes, I love building up to it being a perfect distraction from everything else and the pay off with the music is fantastic.

I do regret not getting the premium mainly for the expression lights though I reckon they add a ton to the experience.

I found the game quite boring but then I'm probably biased by the fact that I think the Foo Fighters are the epitome of Indy land fill.

I do like Foo as a pinball machine, when set up well it does have excellent flow, used to be my pick for “flowiest machine” until Kong came along. Very fun to shoot. I find it a bit linear code-wise but no different to say a Jurassic Park in that sense, really.

Kong shoots great too. Both flow monsters and totally different in layout style. Pinball is awesome

Foo is a great game, loads of great shots, fantastic music and great code. I really enjoy the upper playfield, trying to keep the ball up there.

Yup, Foo is awesome and a game virtually no one seems to talk aout but it plays brilliantly. Not the deepest game in the world but it's understandable, full of personality and shoots great.

Current obsession is trying to power up the 3x battery, upgrading the van and the boom buttoning my way through a mode. Feel like this game has huge scoring potential if you get it right.

You can get some huge shots using the inlane targets, shatz one way for 2x then the other for 4x, then hit your high value shot

I was concentrating on the van recently and got knowhere. I changed tactics to just get into the modes asap, first game 1.2 billion

I have to be careful doing that, lest I shatz the ball (and my pants) straight down the middle
