Foam pads on ramps to dampen the impact?

What do you guys call these foam pads that dead the impact of the ball? I have a few on my pin but they are all very worn and ruff to the extent they are not doing there job and need replacing but I cant find them anywhere. I know I could try get some sticky foam and cut it to shape but its quite dense and id rather get the proper stuff.

I haven't got foam pads on my original targets, are they supposed to have them ? The new targets I got from Andy had them on but I took them off to match the others .... Did I do wrong ?

It absorbs the impact thus taking longer to bend the metal bit

The pads are a modern development. The old targets are fine without them. Your choice as to replace them or not or rather rip the foam pads off or not...!

Ahh I guess different materials used back then ... so i have fitted 2 new targets on the pf that had foam pads on them but I pulled them off to match the others. Will see how it goes...

Or just buy a cheap roll of stick in foam draught exluder.
